When can my student join this class?

Will I need to purchase equipment for a competition?

It depends.

If your student is competing only in forms, probably not.

If they’re competing in sparring or weapons, then yes. This blog talks about the equipment you’ll likely need.

Each competition is unique in the equipment they require, but most are pretty similar.

Please talk to Sensei Adam about an event you’re interested in.
