Join Us June 28th For A 90-Minute Women’s Self-Defense Workshop
Are you ready to take charge of your personal safety?
Join us for an empowering women’s self-defense course designed to build confidence, awareness, and practical skills in a supportive environment.
Why A Women-Specific Self-Defense Course?
While personal safety concerns everyone, women face unique challenges and threats. Women-specific self-defense training addresses these unique circumstances:
- Target-specific techniques: Women often face assailants larger than themselves, requiring specialized techniques that leverage proper body mechanics rather than brute strength.
- Scenario-based training: Addressing common situations women encounter, including verbal harassment, unwanted touching, and potential assault scenarios.
- Psychological preparation: Overcoming socialized hesitation to use physical force when necessary.
- Supportive learning environment: Creating a space where women can practice assertiveness and discuss safety concerns openly.
The Reality: Understanding The Statistics
Understanding the prevalence of violence against women highlights why these skills are essential:
- Approximately 1 in 5 women in the United States has experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime (CDC, 2022)
- About 1 in 3 women globally has experienced physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner or sexual violence by any perpetrator in their lifetime (WHO, 2021)
- Women are more likely than men to be victims of intimate partner violence, with 1 in 4 women experiencing severe physical violence from an intimate partner (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2022)
- Nearly 20% of women report being stalked during their lifetime, compared to 8% of men (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2021)
These statistics aren’t shared to create fear, but to emphasize the importance of preparedness and empowerment.

This self-defense seminar was incredibly empowering and eye-opening! Adam made the techniques simple and effective, so I felt more confident in my ability to protect myself.
